dream hair

I'm sure this is an old topic, but I can't get over how much I loved Angelina Jolie's look in the movie Changeling. Now, I'm not specifically an Angelina fan, but oh her hair was amazing! My hair is about the same length and even color, so I've decided I really need to figure out how to style it like this.

If anyone has some hair tips for me, please pass them on!

Now let's not forget about the clothes either. I am in love with the wonderful blues, greens, and other pale colors she wears. Every accessory is beautiful as well, especially the shoes. Movies like this really make me wish I lived in a different era (minus the extremely depressing theme of this film).

I tried on this hat the other day at Urban Outfitters and it made me feel very "Changeling- esque". It will probably need to go on my birthday list.

What modern day movie taking place in a different era has inspired you?

It looks like she's had kiss curls done, but then they've been softened down. I'd LOVE to get this book on my birthday list!

  3. i styled my hair a little like that for my school formal, which was longer ago than i care to remember! i was inspired by pics of my grandmother in the 40s. you need to use hot rollers, and then comb the curls out slightly to position them properly, and spray it with hairspray. it's not too tricky. it worked well on my hair because it was all different weird and wonderful lengths, as a result of growing out a super short crop.
