Well hello world. I would just like everyone to know that the summer weather in Georgia is ridiculous! It is so hot, humid, and there are bugs everywhere. I'm not even going to pretend to be one of those people that don't mind it and don't complain. The only plus side is that the summer has wonderful thunderstorms.
Here is a shirt I have made, it was once an XL vintage men's western or cowboy button up shirt (I'm not sure of the exact term). I took it in on the sides, changed the collar and sleeves, gathered up the back, and then added pin tucks. I've never done pintucking before so I kind of just guessed how you might do it, I'm sure it's kind of messy up close! It's a little too short to wear without tights or something underneath, but I want to wear tights all day every day anyway, so that's okay with me. The shirt was also $.50, so I say that's an alright price for a dress/tunic/shirt thing.
one of the sleeves was pushed up, I promise they're the same length
dress/shirt- my favorite old lady thrift store in Rincon, GA
tights- I have no idea, they were a gift from my mom
shoes- old navy (they are yellow flats with a little velvet bow, the dumb grass is hiding them)
Stay tuned for more exciting things, I might actually start being productive with my time. (ha!)
I also want to thank everyone who has been reading this and leaving such nice comments. That definitely makes this a fun and exciting thing to do!
