dresses and suitcases

Why hello my friends. I finally made a dress, from a real pattern! I know I am behind the times with this pattern, but it was so fun to make. I suggest everyone go out and get one! I should also like to add that I found the fabric for $1.00 a yard, so this has to be the cheapest way to have a new dress.

Also, when I went outside to try and take pictures today it was so humid that the camera lens fogged up instantly. The second I tried to wipe it clean it would fog up again! So I had to move it inside, where you can all see our gigantic windows. Our house is at least 100 years old we have been told, so it has other interesting things like extremely high ceilings (and uneven floors in spots,ha ha).

dress- made by me!
shoes- target

And one more thing...I now have to go and fit everything I will need for two months in here. I am terrible at packing too. Lindsi and I just sat around and complained all night about having to pack so soon.

Mrs Fournier- Thanks!!! I took home ec in school and made pillows and potholders or something, ha. I've been sewing up tshirts and whatnot since then, but this is the first time I've made something from a pattern. I was nervous, but it was so fun!
