New friends!!

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with the lovely Lauren of Blooming Leopold at a coffee shop in Nashville. It was a very hot day and I had decided to walk to the coffee shop. This was a terrible idea! I felt hot, disheveled and icky the whole time. But regardless, the instant we both sat down it felt like we had always been friends and I felt right at home. That doesn't happen very often, so it was very refreshing! We had an endless amount of things to talk about, like fashion, computer games, and not wanting real jobs. Our visit was extremely short, so it felt like we hardly got to talk at all, even though we had an hour of nonstop conversations.

Lauren is by far one of the nicest, most easy going, and cutest girls I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is one of those people you can tell is caring and genuine to the core. She of course had on the cutest dress, tights, and little wedge shoes. My husband Patrick was too busy to come and meet Lauren and Neil, but I think we would all get along wonderfully. Nashville may be eight hours from where we live, but I think we will have many more hangouts!

I somewhat recently moved all the way from Washington State to the Savannah area and on top of that travel too much to have made many friends in our area. This makes it even nicer and even more appreciated to meet great new people.

This experience just made me wonder what other wonderful ladies are out there reading this right now! So thank you to Lauren for such a fun, exciting, and refreshing time!

It can be hard to meet new people when you move town (I moved London to Melbourne a few years ago) but it does happen :D

  7. Aww so cute! I've met one of fellow blog friends too and because we've read each other's posts for so long we feel like old friends :)

I love your hair by the way! It's exactly the hair cut I wanted but kind of chickened out at the last minute and opted for a safer version.

  9. Thanks, Vanessa! :) It takes a bit longer to curl it, but it's definitely worth it for special occasions.

I love these photos - you both look so gorgeous. I wish I could beam over to the States and have coffee with you both.
