Forgotten pictures, Sleepiness, and Complaining

I took these pictures exactly a month ago and kind of forgot about them until now. It's not like at all like me to forget things (ha!), so here they are. When I took these I was tired from just waking up, with no makeup and unfixed hair. So I guess I thought that sounded like the makings of a perfect photo opportunity.

I, like many, am always on the hunt for the perfect eyeliner skills and the perfect red lipstick. No matter what my eyeliner always comes out horribly crooked, there's no hope left for me. Life is so very hard sometimes.

And while I'm at it, will someone please just make my hair long and braided?

  1. I love them, pretty lady! You're so beautiful.
I always thought you had great eyeliner back in the day. I'm sure you are still a master at applying it!

  4. You look... French. You truly look like a Parisienne. Are you (partly) from France?

  5. Aw, you're lovely! :)

I can never get my eyeliner straight either, it's a disaster! Sometimes I'll think I'm going to get it just right for once, and then at the last moment, I wreck it somehow. It's so irritating!

  7. Hi there!

Looove this post. I am way too chicken to cut off my hair. I stumbled on your blog somewhow, I'm not sure from whose blog roll, but I'm glad I did, because I really like it. You are now on my blog roll... it's not much, but hopefully a few more readers will find your blog b/c of it.

    au revoir darling!

  8. Oh goodness. I wish I could make my hair just appear long and braided too! I've been growing it out forever and I'm getting antsy to cut it, but I want it long. Oh the peril:)

  13. Natural beauty.

I truly believe it's the uniqueness in everyone that makes them beautiful.

I've recently chopped off my long locks, and I have to say there was something liberating about it.

  17. the eyeliner thing, my god it's difficult, but my two biggest tips are - do it in stages and do both eyes at the time. so do the first bit, and then do the same thing on the other eye. if you do one whole eye and then try to copy the shape onto the other eye it's somehow so much harder to get them identical than if you're constantly comparing them as you go. also, cotton tips dipped in a tiny bit of water or eye makeup remover are god's gift for fixing up wonky bits, especially when you get your mascara everywhere as i always do.

i did not mean for that to turn into such a huge eyeliner rant, but there you go.
