Peterpan collars, dreams, and socks

So I rarely see collections where I like every single aspect in its entirety. But every single piece, detail, the shoes, socks, even the model make me swoon here! But the spring/summer Nadinoo collection is what my clothing dreams are made of, good grief. My funds, of course, are way way too limited to actually buy any of the real pieces but luckily my sewing machine is always raring and ready to go. Regardless of having money or not, I have reservations about buying expensive clothing (call me an ol' stick in the mud.) Look at all of the peterpan collars...the colors...the ahhh! There are way too many wonderful things to list about this collection. I could wear each piece and nothing else for the rest of my life I think, and I mean it!

Their fall/winter '09 collection wasn't too shabby either if I do say so myself. I know I am obviously way behind on posting about this, but oh well!

Expect a more official post tomorrow!

  10. I absolutely LOVE this.. especially the peach peter pan collar blouse and the floral shorts! that outfit is what spring should look like. another collection to lust over!

and I know what you mean about having reservations with spending a lot on clothes. I bought shorts from urban outfitters for 40 dollars (which is a lot to me for shorts) and while I love them, I love the ones I made from a pair of 2 dollar thrift store pants more. it's not easy to justify spending a lot of money on a blouse when you might be able to find something like it at a thrift shop and make it your own. pieces that are more unique or complicated, though, I can see splurging.. but my idea of splurging is anything over 40 for a dress! living on a budget really teaches you what is important to you and what's not, doesn't it? it's a good lesson to learn, especially when we're so young.

  13. Update: I recently visited the site following this post and seriously had to tell myself I cannot afford such amazing garments over and over. I was soooo tempted to toss some tax refund money Nadinoo's way!!
