Fun, fun and FUN!

Hello friends! Some great 'blogger' I am, I think I'm averaging a post every other week, ha! I've had a really good photo shoot planned with the goats but it rained all weekend and then Patrick worked late today. For this plan I most definitely need an assistant, those ladies are becoming increasingly difficult to keep wrangled up. So to make up for this delay, I decided I'd show all of you the newest addition to our house: A TRAMPOLINE!!! And for free nonetheless! Thank you craigslist. I can tell many a pictures will be taken involving this thing... its the greatest! It was getting really dark while trying to take these photos, so they're not the best.

I've got one new dress all sewn up and ready to take pictures of. It really reminds me of the white one from a couple posts ago. We've got a wedding to go to this weekend so I'm going to make something new to wear to that as well. I am in need of more summery things to wear!

This is very off topic, but I think I am in need of some new face makeup. I've been using this lately, it surprisingly is really nice, even compared to more expensive brands. It just starts to feel kind of gross when the weather is warmer and I use a heavier sunscreen. Its also the only drugstore kind thats pale enough, ha. Maybe something in a powder form would suit the summer weather better. I really don't need to wear anything heavy at all either. So what I am trying to get to is, what do you guys use?

dress- U.O.

p.s. at the start of taking these pictures, my mother in law walks up and hands me sour jelly bellys and a liberty of london scarf from target. she knows things.

  1. OH MY GOSH! That looks like so much fun! I'm jealous!

I just use a little bit of MAC studio fix powder during the summer and it's pretty comfy. I hate foundation so I hardly ever wear any of that! :)

  2. Hello, lovely lady! This is me dropping you a line to tell you that I hate foundation, especially in warm weather, but a decent one is Rimmel's Stay Matte. It's super light weight. Get the lightest color and you should be fine, even if it's a little misleading when you dab it onto your wrist or what have you.

  3. I use Bare Minerals, but it seems to sweat off during the day. Side note: I live in Arizona where it's 100 degrees in the shade, no cool breeze no nothin'. So possibly where you live you'd fare better :) Love the dress & trampoline "poses". I miss having a trampoline, but the gaping hole made a bit hard to jump on.

  5. These photos are wonderful! I love movement photos :) Like Dee (above),I use Bare Minerals and I find they give just the right amount of coverage, but are very comfortable to wear, especially in the summer. There's an spf in there too which is great. I LOVE your dress by the way - I think I need something in that perfect shade of red!

  6. Next post we need some flip action...I was always jealous of the kids in school that could do flips! Your posts are always lovely no matter how far apart they are, I look forward to every one! I'm with you on the southern girl makeup woes. I've used Bare Minerals and tinting moisturizers which both seem to do ok, but in the worst months of the summer I'll just give up and go bare faced with sunscreen. There's nothing like a bunch of bare-faced beauties...our motto is "if you can't beat them join them!"

  7. I like aromaleigh, but I know next to nothing about makeup, so you should probably listen to all the MAC girls. Your trampoline looks so fun! I really want one for our deck, but since it's on the second floor, that's probably not safe at all. I also want a swimming pool out there..and some chickens and a swing, but I just don't think the landlord will go for any of those.

  8. Hahahaha what a fantastic idea for an outfit post shot :D These photos make me wanna run around outside and leap around in the air like a spring chicken... though I'd probably collect a few weird looks along the way, living in the middle of a city n' all. ♥
