Tea Parties, Goaties, and Food

Well the goats and I FINALLY took our pictures! I really needed an "assistant" to get these taken (in other words someone to try and keep these ladies wrangled up) and Patrick was either getting home too late or it was raining. I'm not very happy at all with the quality of these photos, the lighting was just terrible. But I didn't see another chance coming for a few days so we took it! It was so last minute that I forgot to get out half of the props, including the teapot, haha. I wish there was a video to go along with these photos, because it would be extremely entertaining. They kept eating the food out of their teacups faster than we could get pictures taken, climbing all over me, and wandering off.

If you feel so inclined, you can check us out on Chictopia's Chic and Fuzzy contest. (It's obviously no contest when it comes to these goaties though)

This is my black version of that white dress I sewed up, just not as perfect. I need to fix a few mistakes that you can't see here because I'm sitting down. And these shoes!!! I've been dying to show these shoes off for quite awhile. I stumbled across this pair, only in this color, and only in a few sizes on sale on Amazon. $53 off!! I've never had a quality pair of shoes before so I am still pretty excited every time I wear them. They are comfortable too!!! You will probably be seeing these in most of my pictures from now on. I go on favorite thing kicks most of the time. I'll want to wear the same dress everywhere for weeks, or shoes, or eat the same thing. I once ate honey nut cheerios with almond milk everyday for like two months.

Speaking of eating, I have banana bread baking right now and it smells darn good. I am ready to eat! I also made lemonade with agave and mint today, and it is so so good. If it wasn't so much work juicing all those lemons I would drink it all in one sitting! Tomorrow I am planning on making berry honey freezer jam, which I am pretty pumped about. I am steadily on my way to being an old grandma, right about on schedule (I am 24 you know). I've been in a weird phase of not cooking very much lately but now thats all I want to do. If seeing things I make sounds interesting, let me know because that sounds fun! I love knowing about what other people eat, but I am a nerd.

We had a few outtakes, ha

  12. This is hilariously awesome. I've been wanting goats forever not. Unfortunately, I'm sure that would violate Philadelphia zoning code.

PS - I'm sure you know this, but I was really surprised to find out that goats wag their tails! A good friend has some, and it was the cutest thing ever.

  17. That last picture is priceless! And I know what you mean about favorite kicks. I once ate a hot pocket every day for 3 months or something. Now I can't even look at them. I avoid the frozen food aisle. Ok that's not true, but in any case your shoes are amazing! Isn't amazon the bestest?
