Boots, Bows, and Stripes

Well, I'm still in California! We thought we were going to be leaving this coming Monday but it turns out we might be here until next Thursday or later. That doesn't bother me one bit though, because it's really starting to look like Fall here. In fact, I am looking out the window at orange and yellow leaves right this very second! I am, however, dying to get home because for once the weather outside will be bearable and I have quite a few places to photograph in mind. One involves my favorite tree I've ever seen (because it somewhat resembles what is possibly an entrance to Narnia.) That's enough babbling.

Onward!

These boots have made a quick appearance on here before, but I just have to say that I love them! I originally wanted a certain pair of boots from Urban Outfitters really bad, but was worried about the quality. I had seen these boots here online but wasn't too impressed. Well then one night I saw them in person at Target and still wasn't sure until I tried them on. That changed everything! I bought them right away. I finally saw the the U.O. boots in person and boy did I sure make the right choice. The U.O. boots were more than twice the price and felt like plastic I could tear with me bare hands! Now onto the dress! I've had it for a couple years now and still get excited when it's finally cool enough out to wear it. However, after looking through these pictures I think I might hate everything I wore together. I can't decide. Does it verge on cartoony? Ha ha. My original plan for these photos was to walk more up into the mountains, but I didn't plan very well and the sun was going down fast. It would've taken five or ten more minutes of walking which was time I just didn't have!

  1. I have those same boots! And I had trouble choosing between them and a pair at UO at first, too! Clearly, we are boot twins.

  5. What a gorgeous set of photographs, your spot was perfect, no more extra walking required! I really like the outfit, I don't think it's cartoony at all. I adore the coloured tights and the stripes and although it sounds like a lot it all seems to work together and you look stunning!

  17. beautiful photos- the surroundings look wonderful! Wow. Here in England, autumn only brings more general greyness.

These boots look fantastic! May I ask where you got them from in the end?
I've been eyeing up similar ones at U.O. too!
