Southern Gals

Last week I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting up with this lady once again, after a failed attempt a few weeks earlier (oh, the unpredictability of touring). She swung by in the afternoon to pick me up and we were off. We had a grand day of thrifting and treat having... and somehow Starbucks was the only coffee within 10 miles or so. Our day was filled with lots of talking and lots of storytelling. Unfortunately I had too much coffee in the morning AND afternoon, so I probably talked a little bit too much (my Achilles heel, haha). I feel quite at home with this lady, we just have so much in common! We are both fake Southerners, like dumb jokes, are just pretending to be grownups (although I'm not really even doing a good job at that, haha), share an affinity for frozen yogurt, and loathe early mornings. I plan to take full advantage of Atlanta being so close to me when we're home later on for some adventures.

Oh, and I left Rhiannon outside alone with Patrick for not even 15 seconds and I came out to discover him grilling her about theme parks. It is his current obsession and he just couldn't get over an Atlanta resident not being at six flags (his favorite) all the time, haha.

( I am really not loving these last few pictures and was having a hard time with them... but you can't win them all!)
