I had the extreme and wonderful pleasure recently of getting together with a certain lovely little lady, for a whole entire day I might add. I sneaked away from the van for the day to Kansas City, while Katie was able to sneak away from her family, it was perfect timing! Let me just tell you all that we. had. a. blast. We went to all of the vintage shops we could find (one was so good, we had to go back for a second look), ate delicious food (homemade noodles, crispy tofu, and lettuce wraps, yummmm), of course drank coffee, and got lost maybe more than a few times, whoops! The day was, of course, filled with great conversations as well. We came to the conclusion that the idea of "age appropriate" dressing is just ridiculous, we will never turn in our fun dresses or bows in our hair!
If you don't already follow Katie over on her corner of the internet, for heaven's sake go there right now! She is really so amazing, so much so that it can't completely be conveyed over the web. I most definitely see her becoming a forever friend. We had only met one time previously (and for a short couple of hours) but she already seems like an old friend, instantly comfortable and fun! I apologize for the influx of pictures to directly follow, I couldn't help myself.
p.s. both times we stopped to take pictures together, random men stood in store/restaurant doorways to watch...which probably explains my super normal and not awkward poses, ha ha.

Thanks for such a fun day Katie!
Ohh what fun! <3 You are both so wonderfully dressed, and it looks like you visited the most marvelous shops!
